Bees collecting nectar

They are very lethargic but today, on October 12th, the bees are collecting the last of the nectar.

About Me

My photo
Stephanie Osborne, Audubon Coordinator
Acquiring and maintaining our designation of "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" is something we are very proud of at York Downs Golf and Country Club. It is not without a lot of efforts that we are welcomed into this elite world of environmental management. Certification requires diligent planning and recording of efforts put forth, in a number of categories. We must consider what is necessary to enhance our natural areas and wildlife habitats, while maintaining the playability of our golf course. In this blog, I will do my best to keep the members aware of Audubon related projects and wildlife sightings, with photos when possible.
